Multi-Rail is the new generic-purpose workholding system from OK-VISE. Compared to a traditional machine vise, the Multi-Rail system offers the following benefits:

When using the Multi-Rail RM system, all the jaw type variants are employed: serrated (R), smooth (S), diamond-coated (D), additional piece models (T), grip models (G), self-aligning (B), machinable (M) etc.
The clamps for the RM system are in most cases D-size (12 mm or 1/2" bolt), but also B-size (M8 or 5/16" bolt) is adequate in most cases.

This clamp module features a D-series clamp with two smooth jaws (S).
Clamp modules like RMC-DSx features one smooth jaw and the other jaw is another type, for example RMC-DSR has one serrated jaw.
This clamp module RMC-TTx features a D-series clamp with two jaws for an additional piece (T).
Clamp modules like RMC-DTx feature one additional piece jaw and the other jaw is another type, for example RMC-DTS has one smooth jaw.
This clamp module features a B-series clamp with two serrated jaws.

Some clamp types for the RM system already have a code like RMC-DR above.
If you cannot yet find a suitable product (code) from our price list, please feel free to make your own combination. All B- and D-series clamps and combinations can be used with the Multi-Rail RM system.
Adapter RMA-D1 includes a T-slot nut and bolt for D-size clamps.
Adapter RMA-BP1 includes a T-slot nut, bolt and riser plate to lift up the clamp (B-size).
Using B-series clamps on Multi-Rail without a plate is not recommended.
